Sheridan Press started from something deeper than just wanting to create. It came from a place of conviction and obedience. I didn’t just wake up one day and decide to build this. I felt led to it.

There was this constant realization I couldn’t ignore. So many people are walking around with something inside of them that never gets the chance to become anything. Not because it isn’t there, but because no one ever sees it, calls it out, or creates space for it. People get overlooked so easily, and after a while they start to shrink what’s inside of them just to fit what’s expected.

​

But I don’t believe that’s how God created us.

Genesis 2:7 says that God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life. That has always stayed with me. Because that means what’s in us didn’t come from nowhere. It came from Him. His breath is in us. His image is in us. And if that’s true, then what we carry has value, even if nobody else recognizes it yet.

That’s what keeps me grounded in this.

Sheridan Press exists because we believe what God places inside of people is not meant to stay hidden. It’s not meant to be dismissed or ignored. It’s meant to be developed, refined, and brought into the world with purpose.

​

For us, this is about alignment. It’s about building something that reflects God’s will instead of just chasing something that looks successful. We don’t want to create just to create. We want it to mean something. We want it to be rooted in purpose.

​

And we want people to be reminded that what’s in them matters, because it came from God in the first place.
